Under an Equal Sky at Canterbury Cathedral
In May 2018, international glass artists Philip Baldwin and Monica Guggisberg unveiled a series of large-scale installations for Canterbury Cathedral. Each work was created in dialogue with the historic building and reflects on themes of war and remembrance. The centrepiece of the exhibition was ‘Boat of Remembrance’, a vast sculpture in the Cathedral’s nave comprising 100 blown glass amphorae suspended in the shape of a ship. I worked with the artists to launch the exhibition and help raise their profile in the UK.
