Sidney Nolan Centenary 2017
I led an international PR campaign to launch the UK-wide season of exhibitions and events programmed to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Sidney Nolan, one of the leading figures of 20th century art. Born in Australia, Nolan came to the UK in the early 50s and remained here until his death 40 years later. My brief was to use the media to creatively tell the story of Nolan’s life and work both in Australia and the UK and to raise awareness of the work of the Sidney Nolan Trust.
